The Racist fiction of the Alamo story

Primary historical documents show that in the early 1800s, Texas, which was then Mexico, attracted thieves, killers, white supremacists, slave owners, crooks and criminals, and poor people from the slave owning states that wanted land and slaves. Jim Bowie was one such thief, criminal, drunkard, and slave owner who died at the Alamo after marrying into a Canary Islander pro-slave family. He was no hero at all. Not an opinion, but fact!
